Kristen L. Savola, MD, M.Ed, FAAD

Dr. Kristen Savola is a board-certified dermatologist who has been serving medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology patients since 2005. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is the only board-certified skin care specialist in Fishersville VA to perform cosmetic procedures. Dr. Savola has been educated at several of the most prestigious universities thereby bringing significant expertise to our community.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Vermont, received a Master’s degree in educational psychology from Harvard University, and attended medical school at Columbia University where she graduated with the highest honor of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). Prior to dermatology, Dr. Savola completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and fellowship training in infectious diseases from Stanford University and has been board-certified in both of these specialties. She went on to receive her dermatology training at the Medical College of Virginia where she served as chief resident.



Yara White, PA-C

Yara worked as an exercise physiologist for 6 years prior to graduating from the Master of Science of Physician Assistant Studies program in 2007 from James Madison University. Yara is NCCPA certified and licensed by the state of Virginia and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Yara focused on dermatology and internal medicine during her first year of practice remained in internal medicine in Ashville, NC until 2016.  Her desire to return to her passion of dermatology and to be closer to family with her husband and two children, brought her back to Virginia in July 2016 when she joined Savola Aesthetic Dermatology.

Yara enjoys both the medical and cosmetic side of dermatology, in addition to helping patients achieve their skin care goals. In her downtime, she enjoys running, hiking with her family and reading.

Meghan Miller

Meghan graduated from Steiner Institute of Aesthetics in 2006 and has worked in the Charlottesville area ever since. She most enjoys giving her clients the tools and information they need to meet their skin care goals. In fact, she started in aesthetics to learn more about her own skin issues. Meghan’s clients appreciate the pampering approach she brings to every treatment. They often make note of  her “special touch.” Meghan completed advanced training at Blue Ridge School of Aesthetics. She also holds a certificate in aesthetics instruction. Outside of the treatment room, Meghan spends time with her family and friends – and tries to keep up with her three kids!
